S & L Electric, Inc. performs a large variety of service calls. They range from replacing a light switch to troubleshooting entire electrical systems. We rely on our years of experience to locate problems quickly and efficiently and to offer cost effective solutions.
Most of our customers want to know how much a repair is going to cost them. When it comes to troubleshooting it can be difficult to know how long it will take to find the problem and what will be required to remedy it. Our standard approach to these situations is to start with a minimum service call which covers up to one hour of troubleshooting. We have found that in most cases we are able to determine what the problem is and what will need to be done to correct it within this first hour. In some instances if the repair is simple, it will be covered in the minimum service charge.
If after the first hour we have not found the trouble (which is rare), we will discuss the options with the customer. Usually the decision has to be made at this point whether to continue looking for the problem or to start installing new electrical in place of the problem electrical.
Once we know what needs to be done, we are usually able to give a cost for the repair.
